I could help with the music for some of the games. I like 8-bit style music, but I can do other genres as well if you want me to. I'll wait until I get a better idea of the game's mood and style before I start though.

if you've ever played a final fantasy game ( and most people have ) then that's the kind of music we're looking at for Lost Demon. However i too am an 8-bit fan and would welcome it being in our games. Could you come up with a title theme for lost demon? Remember: almost all videogame music is looped, sometimes with a short intro.

And this is why I originally joined and helped out in the first place I can do both 8-Bit and then some...you need epic Final Fantasy like music though? Are you talking FF7-10-like battle themes? I personally think I'm much better off working on something of that genre than 8-Bit, which gecko could probably handle. Please be specific with what kind of music you want though. FF has many epic tracks, thanks to that musical genius called "Nobuo Uematsu".

I reckon a title theme would be a good start. Something Majestic (Like the prologue from FFIV), then going into something dark/ominous.....and then looping back to the majestic bit again.

I finally found how to draw a good drum wave in Milky Tracker, so I will be using some of those heavy 8-bit drums that you find in some of Strobe(if you've ever heard of him)'s songs.
I currently have a sort of creepy theme that you might put in a dark fores or something, and a kind of exciting/action theme that you might want to put in a cave or something, but I haven't made them yet. (at the moment they are embarrasing voice recordings of me humming and beat-boxing on my phone XD)

...humming and beat-boxing on my phone XD) ROFL I am a testament to that. It really does work. Save the melody/rhythm while it's still in your head, so you'll never forget it. Tried & true trick right there XD

The only problem with the method is that the song never sound as good when you play them back the next day, probably because you were in a different mood when you you recorded the song to when you play it back.

Again, true. I mean, it was recorded and all, but it'll never seem exactly like when you did record it. But hey, better that than nothing ;D
